Now we're at the Questions section of the site. In this section you will learn many common questions, as well as several words that you need to know to form your own questions.

As you will recall from the grammar section, a question is formed by simply reversing the order of the verb and the subject in a sentence. In English, this would be like taking the sentence, "It is a red house," and changing it to, "Is it a red house?"

Interrogative Words

In order to form questions, you will have to know the interrogative words (who, what, where, etc.), so study this list and become familiar with all the questioning words.

¿Quién? (kee-EHN) - Who?
¿Cuándo? (KWAHN-doh) - When?
¿Dónde? (DOHN-deh) - Where?

This is just a small list of some general questions. It should help you to familiarize yourself with how Spanish questions are structured.
